David Umana has played piano and keyboard since before he could reach the pedals of a bike. Studying classics and big band music for many years, David attended Akron University School of Music concentrating on theory and composition. His educational background coupled with his natural talent, David has composed brilliant ballads and blazing dance hits. This unique talent has played professionally since 1967, traveling with disco and show bands throughout the United States. David has recorded his selections as well as cover tunes on the west and east coasts. David also played with local bands for many years including Counter Points. Although extremely talented on the "Keys" David has brought wonderful, exciting harmonies to the band.
